I got recommended for a performing job with one of the best marching brass bands I think I’ve ever seen……and it sounds like I got accepted at least as a sub!!! I got asked to play for memorial day with the group on flugelhorn, I’m so pumped beyond belief and it also gives me even more motivation to keep working my ass off.

On top of this opportunity, I am playing with Wycliffe Gordon later this week with my old big band……he might be one of the best jazz trombone players in the world right now and I feel so honored to have a chance to play together with him.

This summer is off to a great start already :)
